 FAQs

  • Everyone needs to create their own account, purchase a single class, 5 class card or membership prior to arriving at the studio. Please also reserve classes at least 30 minutes in advance and cancel those you no longer want 1 hour prior (see different cancel policies for Hot Pilates)

  • Make sure to bring a yoga mat, large towel and water to class. (we sell them but don’t provide rentals*) Wear exercise clothes you are comfortable in and can sweat in. (l mean…really sweat in)*We now make exceptions for first time students only. Yoga Mat and Practice Towel rentals are $5/each

  • We suggest starting with a single class that you can apply to any of our Memberships or a 5 class card within 24 hours of taking your single class. Or you can jump on any membership and know you can opt out a week prior to your charge date. All our memberships have no commitment and can be canceled a week prior to your charge date.

  • The studio opens the doors 15 minutes before class and all our classes start on time. If the door is locked, we are sorry we missed you, we will see you next time.

  • We ask all clients to exit the room after a 2-5 minute savasana so we may clean and prepare for the next class. We offer 15-20 minutes after class to change/shower and go out the back door.

  • Instead of rentals we only sell mats and several options. Everyone does need a yoga mat to practice at HYP. Please call or email for current availability and pricing.We do offer one courtesy rental if it is your first visit . The rental fees are $5 each for a Yoga mat and practice towel.

  • We are located at 2089 E Colorado Blvd, Pas. Ca. 91104. There is parking in the back or 2 hour parking on the street. Please allow time to park as our classes start on time.

  • We have created a whole page dedicated to helping you answer all the questions you have about reserving classes, canceling reservations, waiting lists, and more on our Members page.

  • We get that it can be intimidating to start a hot yoga practice. But you won’t know until you try and then wait to see how incredible you will feel after.

Classes to Create Strength, Healing, Confidence and Ease:

Original Hot Yoga (OHY) 90 min and 60 min

OHY is the traditional and Original Hot Yoga series. (aka Bikram method) This 90  practice is what launched the studio in 1998 and is still the foundation of our studio. We evolved to offer our 60 min version for those looking for the same series in 60 min.You will find OHY offers the most healing and therapeutic benefits in this very sought after series designed for every level.  Learn to balance effort and ease with normal breathing to create the most profound experience.  OHY is done in a heated room and transforms your body and mind by stretching and strengthening your physical body and by relieving stress to meet the demands of your day and to reclaim your most powerful self.

Hot Pilates

Our Hot Pilates fitness classes are high intensity, low impact and offer the physical strength you crave and the emotional support you need to achieve results. Hot Pilates Weights  incorporates a faster pace and optional light hand weights to increase your muscle tone and cardio health.    Hot Pilates classes are all levels and we offer modifications to keep the class at your level to strengthen and improve your cardio health.

Yin

Yin yoga is a wonderful way to ease tension in your ligaments and joints by holding postures for 2-5 minutes.  Meant to go beyond the muscles to find deeper release in the ligaments and tendons, Yin uses slow, long holds to allow deeper opening and connection.
